Ferret care is not really difficult, as long as you give it proper attention and time. It is no trick that requires some magic hands or a field where one is supposed to spend big amounts of cash. Indeed, ferret care is all about following easy-to-do steps and dealing with a few important tasks.

For one, you have to keep in mind that ferrets are not hamsters. They do not even belong to the same family. You can spend a few bucks and enjoy your time with ferrets, as long as you know how to treat and meet their special needs. Naturally, nothing is clearly served or is given on a silver platter. You have to earn your way before becoming a certified ferret owner. On the contrary, there is nothing about ferrets that you cannot really handle.

1. To deal with housing and cages is a great way to start things. In choosing their cage, be wary of sharp edges. Choose wired cages instead of wooden ones as the latter are breathing grounds for odor and unwanted smell. It is also wise to choose proper bedding for your pets. You may go for old sheets even hammocks or old T-shirts.

2. Ferret care is also about ensuring proper food and water. In choosing a cage, it is best to have one with a water basin or container. Water bottles can also be used, but bowls are much more appropriate once your pet gets older. The same step is also applicable with food.

3. Litter trays can be in the form of old cardboard boxes or plastic containers. It is a must to choose the proper litter box for easy clean-ups once these boxes are filled. Choose pine pellets instead of wood shavings as litter. Even torn pieces of old newspaper seemingly works.

4. A well-balanced diet is also a component of ferret care and is by far considered the most important aspect. Ferrets, being obligate carnivores, have an inclination to meat. Anything that is meat-based or makes use of protein is deemed appropriate. Supplements are also given occasionally, along with sweets and other treats.

5. Ferret care is also about handling, sanitation and grooming. Baths should be done not regularly but should be scheduled once a month or twice depending on your pet's exposure to dirt. The trimming of nails and ear cleaning should be done every two weeks or whenever it is needed. Handling, on the other hand, refers to your treatment when your pet tends to bite or nip. As always, the use of force or hurting them is definitely not part of this list.

UK Bingo Online – Finding Luck

Bingo is a game of chance.  You win some; you lose some.

However, there are always tips, strategies, and game plan that you can use to increase your chances of winning. At Bingotime, the best UK bingo site to play any kind of bingo, we have compiled a number of stories on how some of the online bingo players would try lure lady luck on their side to beat the odds.

Statistics say that 75% of people carry lucky charms with them.  Only few may admit this but in UK bingo online, this may probably be true.

  • Some call lady luck by displaying different sorts in front of their computers before starting to play.  Few of these charms include the well-known rabbit's feet or the four-leaf clovers; troll dolls, dice, birth gems and the list goes on.

  • There are people who attract luck by performing rituals before playing a game.  Some wear their lucky dress or lucky socks on; others eat a special food; whiles some get advice from their horoscopes to find "clues" on how to win games.

  • There are some who use "Lucky Dust" to give their game a boost.  In the traditional bingo games, the host throws upon the famous dust before, during and after each game.  Apparently, this has helped some players win.

You can draw your own lucky dust or make up your own lucky charm.  Keep this by your side when you play online just for fun.

No matter what you use or do, just remember to enjoy the game and keep a sunny attitude as you play.  Think of actually taking home the prize!  If you believe it, who's to say you can't win.
