My rabbit, Honey The GROUCH?
I have two rabbits that I got in December last year, and ones a Himalayan rabbit, the other is a lop eared rabbit.
The lop eared, Honey, is a grumpy bum!
She actually scared me today, i was cleaning out their hutch, my Himalayan rabbit scampered out to the run but Honey just stood her ground, and when I was scooping up hay she snorted and snuffed but I ignored this. I reached back in and she growled loudly several times! I got annoyed and was reaching in to give her a little tap to nake her go out into the run and she lurched forward a bit and growled even more!
What IS her problem? She backs away when I pat her, hates being picked up (I dont annoy her though i hardly ever pat or lift her since she hates it) and whenever i open the hutch door when shes eating from her pellet bowl she backs away and just stares cautiously at me!!
She isn't spayed, but we are discussing it, yes we know about ovary cancer ok!
Her hutch is very big, a good diet....?

Give her and him treats for them to come to you, and play. she has to get used to you, and she's showing she rather be alone because of that.
