Arizona house bill 2701, introduced by Rep. Debbie Lesko, was on its way to killing the Arizona solar sector until it was recently dropped. Unlike most other states, Arizona has has the land and consistent solar radiation required for reliable renewable solar energy production.
HB-2701 would have made Arizona the only state to include existing nuclear power plants in a renewable energy standard. i know that i studied this in history in fifth grade (dont ask. it was weird)... i'm pretty sure that Mao Zedong gathered like 10,000 people and did some sort of march in china. or were those the people that were against him? i dont know, but he was very disliked throughout asia for doing something. really wish i could be more sure. i'll just give you the link to a wikipedia page
