Here are some more information for Red Lunch Bento:

San Diego is our favorite California 'Big City' with plenty of historic sites, pristine beaches, amusement parks, museums, pro sports, restaurants and entertainment. We've found downtown to be relatively safe for a big city and very clean. The downtown region is a strategic hub for many of San Diego's top attractions including the Gaslamp Quarter, Padres baseball, Old Town San Diego, Little Italy, Balboa Park, the Convention Center and U.S.S. Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum. Many of these sites are within walking distance, or short trolley ride from downtown.
The Gaslamp Quarter is a historic portion of downtown that spans several blocks. Originally established in the 1850's, the Gaslamp Quarter began as a waterfront housing development. Many of San Diego's oldest buildings can be found here although today the area is a huge draw for those seeking great restaurants and entertainment. Victorian mansions, brick industrial buildings and craftsman homes have been converted into hotels, restaurants and nightclubs and draw hoards of visitors to the area. At the outer edges of the Gaslamp Quarter, and within easy walking distance, is the Convention Center and Petco Park, where the Padres play.
Just a few blocks west of downtown and the Gaslamp Quarter is the San Diego Harbor where there are several tourist-oriented attractions. Seaport Village attracts visitors with touristy shops and restaurants in an old port atmosphere. A short walk north is a WWII Memorial and the U.S.S. Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum where visitors are welcome to explore a decommissioned aircraft carrier complete with fighter jets and helicopters. A few more steps north put you at the cruise ship terminal and the San Diego Maritime Museum where several historic ships are berthed, including a tall ship from the 1800's.
Two popular tourist destinations are located to the north of downtown and are accessible by trolley; Little Italy and Old Town San Diego State Historic Park. Little Italy is within moderate walking distance to downtown, or a quick trip on the Red Line trolley. There you will find a plethora of fine Italian restaurants, markets and art galleries spread over several blocks along India Street. Further north by trolley is Old Town, which is San Diego's oldest settlement and currently maintained by the State Park system. The park preserves and maintains a section of town that includes buildings, adobe structures and artifacts from its early days of Spanish and Mexican conquest. Hotels and several popular restaurants are located within the park.
North of downtown on Park Boulevard is Balboa Park. Here you will find the San Diego Zoo, art studios, museums, gardens, sports complexes, an amphitheatre and much, much more. Museums include an Air & Space Museum, Automotive Museum, Model Railroad Museum and Natural History Museum among others. This is a great place to spend a day relaxing on the lawns of the open spaces between museum hopping. Grab a bento box lunch at the Japanese Friendship Garden Cafe and relax in the shade of a Romanesque colonnade at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion.
These are just a few of the attractions that are within easy reach of downtown and the Convention Center. Other sites and attractions worth visiting that are beyond the downtown region include Cabrillo Point, Coronado Island, Sea World, San Diego Wild Animal Park, Belmont Park, Legoland, Chargers football at Qualcomm Stadium, Mission Bay Park, Birch Aquarium, Del Mar Racetrack, several Spanish Missions and the beautiful towns of Julian and La Jolla. There's plenty to see and do in this region of California and it will not disappoint. If coming in from out of town, the San Diego International Airport is situated at the northern end of the harbor and just five minutes from downtown and many of San Diego's top hotels and attractions.

Gifts for Couples
Some Christmas presents are made or sharing, and with a Red Letter Days experience you can give a loved one something extraordinary, and the best thing is that you both get to enjoy it!
We can’t promise a mid-air encounter with Santa’s reindeer but why not rise above the stress and strain of Christmas in a Hot Air Balloon (£395 for two) and soak up the tranquillity and stunning scenery below, while enjoying a romantic moment with a partner. Recover from the excesses of the holiday season on a Health Spa Break for Two (£500), where you will bothreceive a well-earned pamper and relax in the luxurious surroundings of a leading spa.
If the drinking and toasting at New Year has left you with a taste for discovering more about a decent vintage, why not take someone on the Vinopolis Experience with Lunch for Two (£99). Eat a three-course lunch at the award-winning Cantina Vinopolis before going on a fascinating virtual tour of the wine world, complete with sampling and a cocktail. Wine appreciation can be taken a step further on an Overnight Wine Tasting Break in the Country with Dinner (£250), where an evening of wine discovery and tasting is followed by a fabulous night in a country hotel.
Anyone that has donned a Captain Jack Sparrow costume for a New Year’s Eve party will be ready to try life on the ocean wave for real with Tall Ship Sailing for Two (£295). While you are climbing up to the crow’s nest on the look out for pirates, trust your other half to take the helm and steer the ship. For those that prefer a more sedate life on the water, a Sunday Lunch Jazz Cruise on the Thames (£99) or Thames Dinner (£199) or Lunch (£99) Cruise plus a Flight on the London Eye, are a ideal for couples wanting to see the sights, enjoy great food and each other on one unforgettable journey.

If animals are your shared passion, you will both enjoy Dolphin and Whale Watching (£75), where the coastal wildlife sightings may also include sharks, seals and porpoises, as well as local birds.
By the time the last bit of wrapping paper has been placed in the recycling bin, there is a good chance that you’ll both be tired of turkey and over mince pies for at least the next twelve months. Why not get hooked on a far more healthy food experience with Sushi School for Two (£149)? With a Yo! Sushi chef acting as a guide, you can both discover how to mould maki rolls and shape sashimi, before taking home the finished delicacies in a bento box.
To wash away your worries, enter the intimate surroundings of the Rasul Temple (£99 for Two), apply the healing chakra muds to one another, breathe in the herbal-infused steam before the cleansing properties of the tropical rainfall leave you refreshed and ready to face the world together.
For the ultimate gift that needs to be shared, it has to be the Le Manoir Break for Two (£749). This beautiful hotel and restaurant is located in the heart of the Cotswolds, and has rightfully made a culinary legend of Raymond Blanc, the proprietor and chef. Two people will feast on a five-course meal in the two-star Michelin establishment, spend a night in a Junior Suite then enjoy a delicious French breakfast the following morning. It’s all a world away from turkey sandwiches and Christmas pudding.
So Christmas is over for another year, and the relatives and houseguests have finally left the building. With Red Letter Days, you can now enjoy the one thing that money can’t buy (and doesn’t require batteries) - quality time with a loved one doing something truly amazing.
There are many different gift for couples and short breaks to suit everyone.
