Here are some more information for Print Poster:

For anyone who is a fan of poster art and loves larger displays of photos and other favorite mementos, it's likely that you've already started to think about canvas prints. Of course, in some circles, many of the painters and other artists aren't too happy about canvas prints, as they offer a way to have a beautiful work of art cheaper than a painting, but canvas is still picking up speed. So many people that used to love posters are starting to turn to canvas prints.
But why would people who love posters and other larger art turn to canvas prints? Well, cost sure isn't one of those issues, posters still cost less as canvas prints are a better quality product and the materials to create them are more expensive. You won't find a poster for the same price that you will a canvas print. However, it's not the cost that is switching people over.
If you think about the different materials that are used to make posters and canvas prints, you will see a huge difference. Canvas prints are stretched around a solid frame that will stand up to years and years of wear. The frame is actually part of the canvas print, and therefore isn't something that's just placed around the photo to preserve it. Posters, on the other hand, are normally framed so that they last a few years, and you can never really be sure how sturdy the framing is. Canvas frames are very sturdy, especially since the canvas is stretched on them, and super easy to hang.
Take a look at the inks that are used in posters and the inks that are used in canvas prints. They are so different it's almost like night and day. Since paper doesn't last very long anyway, the printers won't use very expensive inks that make the colors and lines really pop. Canvas printers know that these are made to last for hundreds of years and they use the inks that will last that long and still stay beautiful.
Also, once a canvas print is completed, a very special sealer is put on top of the canvas to help keep it sealed and protected. Posters aren't. They are not printed to last very long, the inks used are not UV resistant, and are not moisture resistant as well. In fact, anyone knows what happens if you get water on a poster - not a pretty thing. Yet, you can really run running water over a canvas print and it won't damage it at all.
When you take a good look at the durability of canvas over paper posters, it's easy to see why so many collectors are turning to canvas prints for their favorite larger photos. Canvas prints will last hundreds of years, where their favorite posters won't last but a few years at the most. It won't take long to have a new poster looking torn and ripped, although this does add to the appeal of some of them. But if you are after the image quality, then posters are not the way to go. Of course, for those things that have a lot of tiny details and need those sharp edges to keep them, canvas prints are not the way to go - glossy paper will always be the best. Yet for those larger photos that have wonderfully rich colors and can stand to have a softer feel added to them, canvas prints are the way to go.
Consider how the canvas will take in the ink and create extremely small areas of shadow and light on the image when it's printed on the surface. This subtle change as you change the lighting, change your viewing position, or simply move the canvas across the room will create a different look to it each time. The texture itself creates a wonderful way to make any photograph "pop" off the canvas, and will add an extremely personable and unique look to the photo.
For anyone who is considering having a poster done for yourself, or as a gift, consider canvas instead. Not only will it last longer, but you will have something that is truly unique that you can cherish for many decades to come.

5 Facts About Printing Posters
There is actually so much literature about poster printing in the Internet that it is hard to separate fact from fiction. Mostly, you will see information that is sketchy at best about printing posters and at worse; they might even lead you to spend more time and money in producing them. You do not have to worry about this though, since in this article I will show you five immovable truths about printing posters that should help you on your task. Let us start with what some printing companies might want to hide from you.
1. It does not have to be expensive
That is right. Poster printing does not have to be expensive if you want it to. Color poster printing only gets expensive because printers always recommend to you expensive printing options that sometimes you do not really need. So do not be too gullible and believe all the things that printers say. Ask questions about how to eliminate cost and get discounts. You will be surprised as to how cheap poster printing can be.
2. Color is not everything
Another truth that you may not know is that colors in a poster do not necessarily make it all that great. You do not need to print full color posters every time you need to produce one. There are plenty of successful posters out there that have used only one or two colors in their prints. It is all about the message really when it comes to design, and color is only a small and welcome improvement for it.
3. Printing quality is everything
For a color poster the printing quality is basically everything to it. All your posters rely on its paper quality to look good and last long. A glossy custom poster will usually be more moisture resistant and dirt resistant due to the gloss; while a thick paper will make the poster more durable to physical damages. So focus on quality paper since this will extend your poster’s life.
4. You do not need large posters
Another important fact you must know is that large posters are not necessarily great. In fact you do not need large posters if you know how to post your posters properly. For example, you can place smaller posters in several groups in a wide area. This has the same effect of large posters, and sometimes it is even more effective since you can flood an area to a point that everybody will be forced to read the poster. So you do not need to spend on large poster printing unless it is necessary.
5. Location is crucial
What is more crucial though than the size of the poster is its location. Each poster's location is important since it determines what kind of people pass it. Place it near a school and you get more youths to see it. Place your posters near cafes and bars and you'll get an older crowd. It is also possible to place your posters near specific communities of various religion and ethnicity. These locations will have an effect of your poster impact on people and will determine if it will be successful or not in delivering its message. So do not just place your posters everywhere. Decide on the best locations that should make it succeed.
Now you know some important truths about printing posters. Use them wisely to succeed in your endeavors.

How much does it cost to print 1 poster?
I have some drawings I'd like to print on thick fine art paper. They're high quality works, sized 11X17. I want to print them to order, for selling to people who want them, not bulk printing. What's it cost to print something like this at home? How much to have a pro do it?
I'm not very certain at your question but if you mean how much does it cost a 11x17 print out on the street it would be approximately $5 or a bit more per print but obviously it depens on the material used and the store pricing.
i'm not %100 sure but it has to be something along that...
