Belleek China: Luck Might Be Just a Chinaware Away
It has been thought of as an old tradition that during wedding ceremonies, it is best to give Belleek china. It has been a belief that once you will receive one, it would bring good luck, many blessings, and a life filled with happiness.
In every occasion, mostly in a wedding, the typical gift most people would give is usually more of the kitchen must haves for newly weds. These include plates, trays, dishes, teapots, cups, and other accessories.
With the Belleek china, you not only get the chinaware but the luck and blessing that comes along with it. There's a variety of chinaware to give that bears blessings and good luck messages painted in every piece.
- The Belleek china Marriage Blessing Plate bears the message "May God Be with you and bless you, May you see your children's children, May you be poor in misfortune, Rich in blessings, May you know nothing but happiness from this day forward." With a nine-inch diameter, it's more than just a plate but something that you can have and treasure for a lifetime.
- The Belleek china Good Luck Plate brings not only blessing to your marriage but luck as well. It bears the message "May good luck be with you wherever you go. And your blessings outnumber the shamrocks that grow." With a diameter of 9 inches, it could actually be part of the kitchenware but it's also something you might reconsider keeping right beside the Marriage Blessing Plate.
- The Limited 2008 Belleek china Kilkenny Castle Plate has a unique artwork in the middle of the plate itself. The Kilkenny Castle, which is a great Norman Castle set above a crossing of the River Nore, has undergone many alterations over the centuries. The castle has a shape of "keepless", which is a trapezoidal plan with drum towers. You can find it engraved at the center of the plate.
You might consider as well giving tokens and gifts during special occasions to porcelain lovers. Belleek Irish china also offers teapots and other accessories as well.
- Himself Belleek Mug and Herself Belleek Mug. These mugs have the green shamrocks handcrafted into each piece. It has an elaborate flowing design making it one of a kind.
- Belleek china Lighthouse Teapot. This stands seven and a half inches tall, resembling a lighthouse. Its intricate design captures every detail of a lighthouse.
- Belleek Sugar Bowl. This caught the eyes of royalties and porcelain lovers worldwide. The bowl has a design handcrafted with green shamrocks sprinkled over the bowl bringing the aura of Ireland right into your home.
- The Belleek Shamrock 3 Handled Mug would definitely be a head turner for porcelain lovers out there. It is one of the Belleek Archive Collections as part of the Belleek Pottery celebrating its 150 years of existence. It has handmade Green Shamrock artwork with an elaborate flowing design.
