"Disappointed in Delivery Time"

This is a great product; I have been very happy with it and purchased one for my mother as a gift. However, it took Amazon seven days to ship it after I placed my order. So, I am looking at 14 days of estimated delivery time from point of purchase. I bought it as a birthday present but it is going to arrive late. Amazon misrepresented the delivery time on the initial order. I will buy it next time at Williams Sonoma and ship it myself.
"An excellant electric kettle"

This kettle replaces a plastic Krups electric kettle I have had for over 10 years. After reading about the potential hazards of boiling water in plastic kettles, I decided to make the switch (and the old kettle had started to leak). I have been using the kettle for just under a month now and I love the swivel base and the stainless appearance. The kettle boils quickly, is easy to pour and does not dribble or spill. As other posters commented, the exterior does get hot, so use caution when placing on a table. Overall very happy with this kettle's performance.
Just a note: but I first saw this kettle at William Sonoma, but bought it on Amazon as it was $10.00 cheaper and free shipping!

This is the second Breville kitchen appliance we have purchased, and from the look of things, we will end up with a kitchen full of their stuff. This is just a flat out great kettle in every respect. In addition to its attractive and innovative backlit water level indicator, it heats water to a boil in a shockingly short amount of time, then shuts off and emits a little ringing bell sound. Everything about this kettle is ergonomically well thought out, and it is really well built. If I could give this 6 stars, I would.

I've had the Breville for a few weeks now after a thorough search for the best product to buy and I love it. I found it at a Bed, Bath & Beyond which didn't have as much selection as I thought it would. Luckily, the Breville was there by chance. I usually heat up about 1 1/2 cups of water in the morning and again at night. I empty the pot after each use. I haven't had any issues as of yet. The plug is neat, instead of a normal two-prong-plug, there's a circle where you can put your finger through and pull out the plug. Neat idea - has nothing to do with the quality of the product. I would rate this as a great buy.

How would you re-word this old saying to modernize it?.."That's a case of the pot calling the kettle black"?
Seems like that old saying wouldn't make sense in today's world where pots and kettles come in all colours. It used to be that pots, pans and kettles were all generally made of black cast iron.
I also think it's outdated, because it seems borderline un-PC these days. But I do find myself saying things like, "Hello Pot! Hello, Kettle!" to people when they don't realize they're accusing each other of the same thing. They usually get it, and just laugh. You could modernize the saying though, by comparing anything that has the same use. 'Well isn't that the Blackberry calling the Razor a cell phone?!" etc...
