The Different Kinds of Porcelain Veneers
When a dentist places porcelain veneers on your tooth, the process is similar to a beautician placing acrylic fingernails overtop of your natural nails.
There are two methods used to place veneers: direct and indirect.
Direct Veneers
These veneers bond a composite or plastic material to the front surface of your natural teeth, known as dental bonding. Dr. Alhadef performs this artistic process in the office, so this procedure can be completed in a single visit.
With direct composite veneers, the margins around your gums can become stained as they thin over time. This can be corrected if it occurs.
Direct bonding is less expensive than indirect veneers, but it does not last as long.
Indirect Veneers
These veneers are usually made out or porcelain, but can also be created from a composite material mixed with porcelain. Porcelain is more resistant to staining, but it is also more brittle. This is especially important if you are prone to grinding your jaw. Never use your teeth to open jars, bottles, or crack tree nuts.
With indirect veneers, a dental laboratory is needed to create the final veneers using an impression Dr. Alhadef will make from your natural teeth. Because of this, indirect veneers require at least two visits. Indirect veneers are typically used in place of crowns and look more like your natural teeth.
These veneers are more expensive, but can last around 15 years if properly cared for.

You actually make it appear really easy along with your presentation however I in finding this topic to be actually something that I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and very huge for me. I’m taking a look ahead on your next put up, I?ll try to get the dangle of it!
