Here are some more information for Photo Dog:

Most people find that after having a dog join their life and household, they will develop a very strong and extraordinary bond with their pet. A dog loves you simply because you love them, will not judge you, does not hold it against you when reprimanded, and can become a remarkable companion. Because of this strong relationship, after experiencing the loss of a pet dog, the grief and anguish is heartfelt. An initial reaction to the death of a dog or other pet you have grown close to is usually denial and/or shock.
Denial and shock are normal and healthy responses to finding out a pet has died, particularly if the death was sudden. You can also have these feelings even before a pet dies. You may have difficulty accepting that your pet has a severe illness or been seriously hurt. Feeling numb, bewildered, and overwhelmed all serve as a cushion after something so unexpected has occurred.
Realizing that you are feeling grief, and then dealing with it will help restore you and allow you to move on with your life. The grieving process can take a long time to get through, but, will gradually lessen its' grip.
If you can express the grief you feel after the loss of your pet dog or other animal you have grown to love and cherish, the times it takes to heal will be shortened. It will help to talk to someone you feel close to, however, the following five tips also involve taking some kind of action:
1) write a story or poem about your pet
2) make a photo album with pictures of your pet
3) plant flowers in your pet's memory
4) take a photo of your pet to an artist to create a likeness for you - stained glass, painting, needlework, sculpture)
5) put your pet's identification tag on your key chain
Grieving a pet loss is a process that usually takes from a few months to a year. By working through the initial feelings of shock and denial, you will be on the road to working through all the feelings that are involved in a loss, and gradually come to accepting the death.

Dog Memorial Gifts And Memorial Photo Blankets
It doesn't take very long for your dog to become a true member of the family. When the time comes to say goodbye, it can be just as painful. For most of us, we want to keep their memory alive and the best way to do this is with a photo memorial of our beloved dog.
Sorting through your pictures will help you relive all the happy times you had together. You may find a great photo of him laying in your yard or playing with his favorite toy. The key is to find one that shows who he was to you.
Our Photo Blankets have long been a popular item as a memorial item. They are very versatile as they be used in many ways. Your Photo Blanket can be displayed on the back of your couch or hung on a wall. For people like to use the blanket to snuggle. It's a great, thick blanket and can make you feel closer. The image is created from the woven Cotton using a compute-driven loom. The result is a traditional jacquard woven blanket that is both classical and functional.
You'll also find other photo memorial items for those that want something different. One of our newest items is a wooden photo bowl. The bowl is carved from a single piece of Alaskan Birch. Using a solid piece ensures a smooth, consistent grain and prevents your bowl from splitting years down the road. After removing the background, your photo is laser engraved. The stand can be personalized with your dog's name, nickname or other text. The wooden bowl is then sealed with several layers of lacquer to protect it. It makes a great memorial to display on a mantel or in your office.
The Photo Canvas is a digitally printed image that has the appearance of an oil painting on canvas. The photo canvas is then wrapped around the edges of the frame in what's called a 'gallery wrap'. This eliminates the cost and need for a traditional frame.
Our Photo Crystal is a unique, full color crystal using your photo. The photo of your dog is applied, using dye sublimation, to the back of the crystal. Being made from acrylic, it is clearer and stronger than glass. When the light shines through, it almost glows. It makes a great memorial to display on your coffee table.
Our dog memorial items are available through many veterinarians and through our website. Losing your dog is a very emotional time. We hope that by providing a photo memorial of your dog that we can help ease the pain and preserve the great memories you have of your dog.

Where can I find a dog photo frame that holds a collar?
I've seen them before, but I can't remember where. My 15 week old puppy just grew out of his first collar. I've seen these dog photo frames before that hold the picture and also have a little spot for the collar to be hung next to it or framed in with it. Does anyone know where I can find one of those frames?
I guess I could make one, but I would rather just buy it.
A shadow box would allow you to put a dimensional item in with a photo. One thing you might check, since it is graduation season, is a frame designed to hold a photo and a grad hat tassel. As long as the frame is plain (no class of '09 or anything) the collar would probably fit in the tassel area. My dog's puppy collar is on a concrete Scottie statue. I can understand you wanting to keep it!
