What is the absolute best way to repair porcelain? The piece I need help with is a figurine of a bride. Her body completely snapped off at the waist and it's a pretty clean break, but I just want to make sure I use the best thing possible. It's a family heirloom and my mother only just gave it to me a month ago!
I am also open to taking it somewhere to be repaired, I want to do whatever will have the best outcome. I live in Los Angeles but also frequently travel to San Diego and the Phoenix area of Arizona. Even if you just have a website of these types of places, I could find one from them.

If there is heirloom value, then look in the Yellow Pages for Antiques Restoration. It will cost $100-200 and be as invisible as possible.
If the parts fit nicely and it does not have heirloom value but just familty value then you can use wires to support it in position and drop SuperGlue on the crack or you can use Goop Craft or E6000 to put a thin layer on one surface, touch the other surface, wait about 5 minutes and put them together in alignment - they will grab immediately and allow only slight adjustment - set aside to complete solvent evaporation.
