Here are some more information for Painting Scroll Flower:

When you are 12, almost anything makes you happy. So it is easy to find fun Christmas gifts to make a 12-year-old boy and girl happy.
A great gift might be a colorful kite ... a ring, necklace, or bracelet that light up ... a trampoline that lets you jump higher than ever ... a set of drums ... or a digital camera.
Most 12-year-olds like to learn new skills so a few months of lessons on the electric guitar or the piano might be a thrill.
In the meantime, though, let us look more closely at a few fun Christmas gifts to make your job of shopping easier.
Heelys - Heelys are athletic shoes with a wheel in the heel. Zip down the sidewalk along with your friends. You can run errands in half the time. And, if you have a paper route, your job becomes a cinch. To use Heelys, you need to wear a padded helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards.
Power Zoom Binoculars - Your favorite 12-year-old will be able to go bird watching, see the baseball game up close, and check out the sights on a car trip or on vacation. Some excellent binoculars are 10X30X60 power zoom with a ruby lens.
Inline Skates - To help that 12-year-old become a skating ace, get him or her inline trainer skates that convert to regular inline skates. Other equipment needed for inline skating include a padded helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards.
Pinball War Games - This standing game table rocks and rolls with flashing lights and dinging sounds. It has dual LCD scoring and drop pockets. This game switches from a game for two players to a game for one. Every member of the family will enjoy taking turns at this pinball game.
Name Scroll on a Painting - This unique gift will bring shouts of joy from your favorite 12-year-olds. The scroll features his or her first name and its meaning inscribed on a painting. Included is a history of the name and famous persons with that name. The painting is of flowers, a lion, a kitten, a dog, and a knight in armor. This treausred gift is ready for framing.
There we have it. These fun Christmas gifts to make a 12-year-old boy and girl happy may inspire you to think of yet more gifts. Not included here are hi-tech gadgets, a computer, software, an MP3 player, or games. We will cover those in a following article. Meanwhile - have a merry old Christmas.

Home Decorating - the Scandinavian Look
The Scandinavian look is a bright, airy style that makes you feel like you can breathe easier just by stepping into it. This look is carefully constructed to give the illusion of light and sprang from Sweden's harsh, long winter evenings. The overall look is homey and inviting.
Color here is viewed as an opportunity to create the brightness of a summer sky with marshmallow clouds and its cheerful vibes. For your base, you'll want something like white, cream or sky blue, complemented with touches of warm yellow and gold, baby pink and bold red, gray and light green. Use these colors to stencil hearts, ribbons, scrolls and gatherings of wheat upon walls.
Like your walls and draperies, keep your floors light and bright! Consider blonde or pale woods, or a light hued paint for your floors. If you want to jazz things up, stencil or paint pale designs (like stripes and diamonds) on the floor's surface. And don't forget your floor coverings! In this case, pick up an eco-friendly sisal rug, like the kind found here, for a natural, attractive covering that protects your floors and family's feet.
Wall sconces are the key to your success with this look. Choose relatively simple, small sconces with a tin, gold or brass finish and place them in sets along your wall for artful framing and light play. Plain table lamps and unfussy chandeliers also help add light to an already bright interior.
Keep your furniture uncomplicated and clean for the Scandinavian style. Curvilinear designs reign in blonde woods like birch, beech, and alder and may come painted white. Legs are often tapered or fluted and tables sometimes bear scrolled borders for extra style. For the bedroom, opt for upholstered head and footboards, or go for basic wood in a canopy bed, trundle or daybed style. Keep in mind there should be nothing imposing or ostentatious about Scandinavian furniture, considering it takes its cues from country and folk styles. For ideas, browse GREENCulture's large furniture site.
If you want to dress up walls, keep things uncomplicated. You can use moldings, some restrained stenciling and uncluttered floral patterns on your walls. Match any florals you do use to freshly cut flowers displayed in pitchers, vases or on wreathes for windows and bookcases. Flowers that match the Scandinavian color scheme include yellow daisies, pink roses and white flowers.
Lastly, don't feel the need to fill up every space with knick-knacks and accessories, as it can work to undermine the light, airy feel you've worked to create. Use mirrors to create the illusion of even more open space and to reflect light, and use light colored accents like blue and white china, silver and glass to add shine and style.

That bedding is AWESOME! It also gives you a great headstart on a look.... black and white lets you accent with whatever rich color is your favorite. Unless your walls have a texture and won't accept them, there are lots of vinyl stick-ups that can be safely and easily removed. With the black and white look you could go with the silhouette look that is very popular now. I know I have seen them at JoAnn Fabric and other places. You seem to have a great sense of style and some really good ideas. Now you just need to find things that will work in your space. Try going to sites that market to college kids. They have the same restrictions in their dorms. Have fun in your new place!
Value Judgment: What's love worth? It depends on the eye of the beholder
An old cookie jar, tablet-back chairs, silver plate epergne, Classical Revival vase and mica lamp are discussed.
