Here are some more information for Natural Agate Delicate:

The liver is a very important organ in the body. Its found in the abdomen, directly below the diaphragm and is made up of a large number of liver lobules.
The liver receives blood from two sources. Firstly, oxygenated blood from the hepatic artery supplies the cells of the liver with oxygen, and secondly, blood coming from the capillary network surrounding the gut. This blood from the gut contains newly absorbed materials, and this is where the livers first function comes in - screening the newly absorbed materials for potential hazards. The liver will screen for bacteria that may have entered the blood and if found, they will be destroyed by a special type of cell called Kupffer cells. The liver will also attempt to detoxify drugs (like alcohol), toxins and poisons that may have been in the diet (or made by bacteria in the body). Its vital that the blood from the gut goes to the liver first, so that dangerous stuff can be removed before it has a chance to wreak havoc on the delicate organs and tissues of the body.
Another major function of the liver is the production of bile. Bile is a yellow-green, alkaline fluid produced from the breakdown of haemoglobin (as old red blood cells are broken down). Incidentally, have you ever noticed a bruise with yellow/green colour? This colour is caused by the same pigments that are found in bile. The bile also contains other substances, and it help to digest fats in the duodenum and ileum (parts of the intestine).
Another function of the liver is in the storage of vitamins A, B, D, E & K as well as iron.
The liver is also responsible for converting excess glucose in the body to glycogen (which can then be stored). The liver will store some of the glycogen, and the muscles will store some as well. This glycogen can quickly be converted back into glucose when the body needs it. When the liver is carrying its maximum levels of glycogen, excess sugars in the blood will be converted to fat, and stored beneath the skin. If glycogen levels in the liver are depleted, the liver will then use other materials (like proteins and amino acids) to convert into glucose. This can mean that muscles are broken down, and this is often seen as a characteristic of starvation.
The liver also deals with some of the fats you absorb, converting fatty acids into cholesterol which is needed for healthy cell membranes and steroid hormone production.
The liver will break up excess amino acids so that they can be re-used for other purposes (respiration, manufacture of bases used in DNA etc), as well as build blood plasma proteins like clotting agents, antibodies etc.
Because the liver is such a complex organ, when things go wrong, a variety of problems can occur. The most common ones include hepatitis (inflammation of the liver that can be caused by virus, or heavy drinking), cirrhosis (scarred liver tissue resulting from heavy drinking, hepatitis, chemicals or liver parasites), and jaundice, where the skin and whites of the eyes turn yellow. The coloration is caused by large quantities of circulating bile pigments in the blood. Some babies are born with neonatal jaundice because the liver is not very well developed at that stage of life.

The New Word For Fashionable Homes- Go Green With Stone!
Deciding to renovate your new home? Why should the kitchen and the bathroom not reflect your style? Ordinary tiles have become quite mundane. The answer to different yet classy looking kitchens and vessel sinks is in ordering for stones like Marble, Onyx, Granite and Travertine which shall beautify your old looking bathroom or kitchen.
Which stone to choose?
Well, the choice is entirely yours. All these stones have their unique properties and uses. Also, you might consider them according to your budget as marble is costlier than the other stones. It is useful to consult one’s interior decorator or designer about the right choice of the stones for your kitchen or bathroom.
Features of the stones:
- Onyx is a unique natural stone which is formed in cold mineral springs by calcite precipitation. It resembles agate in its translucent and layered appearance. Its beauty lies in the fact that light can pass through it, making it glow at times. Also, it is available in different colors. The stone is usually associated with luxury and charm.
- Marble has been the regal stone for ages, known in history because it was favored by most kings to make memorable monuments. It is essentially composed of calcium carbonate or limestone and has several types such as calcites, dolomites, serpentines (known so as they are green in color) as well as travertines (sedimentary limestone). The most wonderful quality of all these types of marble is that they can all be polished to an extraordinary sheen and luster and look equally beautiful. However they can be extravagant for people of limited means and it is also a delicate stone which might not be suited to the rough work of the kitchen.
- Travertine is the next stone to be considered. It is limestone which has been formed over a long period of time. It is porous in nature and has visible holes and is available in different shades of crème/beige, brown, pink and gold and is conveniently available in different tile sizes and slab thicknesses. Most of the largest travertine deposits are located in North America and especially in new Mexico.
Best usage areas:
- Travertine is best suited for Sinks as they are available in different shades and colors.
- Granite Kitchen Sinks are the most durable and easily maintainable. It is also a good choice for the bathrooms. Due to its hardness, it is resistant to many types of wear and is beautiful as well.
- If Onyx Sinks are carved out by careful experts then it can be almost a fine piece of art rather than just a piece of home décor. Also, its translucence and its carefully polished finish can make it glow beautifully, changing the esthetics of your home décor.
- Marble Sinks are unique as no part of the stone has the same design as another so your sink will have a one-of-a-kind property. There are numerous shades available and the different designs will spoil you for choice in helping you create elegant and artistic bathrooms and kitchens.
