Kayyy. I was born with pinstraight black hair. By the time I was 5, it had a curled under tip, that continued until about, 11ish? Then it got a little wave, then more, and more, until today. A curly masterpiece, and it got lighter to a dark brown. WHY? It is still getting lighter and curlier, so what went wrong? o; I WISH I has that black straight hair today.
Nothing went wrong. That's just how it is. Hair changes. It is really common for babies to be born with straight hair and then end up with curly hair. It's also common for hair color to change. I had white blonde hair until I was 5 and golden blonde until I was about 11. Now my hair is medium/dark brown. One of my friends had orange red hair until she was about 20, strawberry blonde til about 33, and now golden blonde. It's just how our bodies change.
BTW you can dye your hair black. It's easy to do at home. I wouldn't recommend straightening though because that can be hard on your hair.
