just a little question. when you go to Kyoto Japan and get to dress up as a geisha/maiko, do you get to keep the kimono and stuff?
i mean if i had a lot of money 
the costume is rented for a period of time.
if you have a lot of money you can easily buy a kimono.
putting on a kimono is not easy, many japanese women can't dress themselves in them and go to a dresser when they want to wear them.
some women take lessons in how to dress themselves in kimono.
an easier and cheaper option is a yukata, which is a light ,cotton, summer kimono.
