Here are some more information for Long Life:

Who else wants to know if Resveratrol really reverses aging? If you are anything like I am when it comes to looking for the proverbial fountain of youth, you have probably spent a fair amount of time recently looking up the amazing benefits of this seemingly potent anti aging ingredient that many believe holds the key to super long life! But of course, like anything else that offers the powerful promise of adding a decade (or more) to our life span, you've got to be able to separate the fact, from the fiction...and the nonsense from the facts. With that in mind, let's take a quick look at what we know...and what we don't about Resveratrol and it's ability to extend your life, and your YOUTH for many years to come!
Where is Resveratrol Typically Found?
Red wine. This is the primary component in the claims that red wine is not only a healthy staple of any good diet, but a big reason that many believe European's have a far lower incidence of heart disease than Americans, even though they tend to eat diets rich in fat, calories and heavy oils and creams...while we tend to pay more attention to diet, yet have high levels of cardiovascular disease anyway.
Does Resveratrol help people lose weight? I've heard this was a primary component of it's benefit.
Yes, many scientists who study it believe it will. As a matter of fact, many of the doctors who have been interviewed on TV and in popular mainstream health publications believe that it actually mimics a "calorie restriction diet" effect, essentially allowing you to eat anything you want, all while your BODY believes you are actually on a very low calorie diet.
(the only widely accepted path to a longer life right now that most doctors agree upon in 2009, is indeed a calorie restricted diet by the way, and has been proven over and over again in laboratory tests using rats and mice, essentially extending their lives by impressive factors every time)
Are there any other ways to get Resveratrol in your diet?
Absolutely! And this is why supplements like ResVer Xp have exploded onto the marketplace, offering 50 MG of Resveratrol in each and every serving. You can get all the incredible anti-aging benefits of Resveratrol in a highly concentrated extract without ever drinking a glass of wine with all those extra calories.

Tips To Live A Long Life
I compiled five quite simple tips that experts agree as being the basics on how we can live a long life. While experts tell us that genetics plays a role in our longevity, most experts also say there are ways not to let genetics be the main determinate point for our lifespan.
1. Eat a well balanced diet. The so-called Mediterranean diet is a good model - pasta, fish, and olive oil with plenty of fruit and vegetables - has been associated with longevity in many studies. And keep in mind that working towards being lean. Less is better when it comes to eating anything. Eat more towards a minimum amount of calories as opposed to splurging. Studies show that a minimum or almost restricted (caloric) diet is outstanding for extended longevity.
3. Moderate exercise three to five times a week for 30 minutes. What does moderate mean? Break a sweat. You don't have to climb Mount Kilimanjaro every weekend-regular and moderate exercise seems to be sufficient. In addition, walking is a good way to practice. Spending a short time on walking every day.
4. Psychologically speaking: Be optimistic, positive and have a purpose in your life. Continuously, believe in the possibility of things working out well-and have a zest for something in your life-writing, gardening, helping others, or some type of work.
5. Develop stable long-term relationships with friends, families, colleagues or even pets. These are major buffers against stress.
Of course there are other things we could do which most likely would increase our chances of living a long life. Things such as not smoking and getting frequent medical screenings can only be good. However, there are people who have lived well over 100 years old, have smoked, and rarely visited a doctor. Speaking of doctors, talking to your physician should be the first step before you make any changes in your lifestyle in regards to longevity, however, the listed tips are the experts accepted "basics" of living well into what we call, old age.

I am looking for a house plant that has a long life?
I am looking to buy a nice looking house plant (some sort of tree perhaps?) that has a very long life (I'm talking years and years and years!) Does anyone have any suggestions.
spider plant, definitley, plus they are very hardy, great for me as I always forget to water, plus they are beautiful green and have shoots coing off them that create another hanging spider. I've had one well over 20 years. As for trees, they can be tricky to keep, but there is a citrus that is hardy and lives long, sorry I can't grasp the name right now . . .
