Make sure to always wash your Jiu Jitsu Gi in cold water only. Washing your Jiu Jitsu Gi in warm or hot water will only help set stains from blood, sweat and dyed materials into your Gi; so to prevent this from happening, washing your BJJ Gi in cold water is a must. To increase the lifespan of your Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Gi you may hang dry them. But keep in mind, hang drying your BJJ Gi's may make the material feel a little rough and will take much longer, about a day or so to completely dry.
Although our BJJ Kimonos are labeled pre-shrunk, they are still made of 100% cotton so minimal shrinkage may occur. To shrink your BJJ Gi, as always wash it in cold water first and then dry it on a low heat cycle until completely dry. This will achieve almost maximum shrinkage of the material.
Make sure to never use bleach! Bleach will greatly shorten the life span of your BJJ Gi because the bleach eats away the cotton fibers. If you come across any stain issues, an organic oxidizer like Oxyclean or a similar detergent should do the trick.
Our BJJ Kimonos have been made to withstand constant use which also includes regular wash and machine dry cycles. With moderate use and typical care, your BJJ Gi should last you a couple of years, if not more.
Final Tips:
• Start to hang dry your Jiu Jitsu Gi after every use
• Turn your gi inside out during wash
• Never use bleach or any detergent with bleach
• Make sure to wash your Gi soon after training
• Do NOT leave a wet and sweaty gi balled up in your gi bag
• Do NOT leave your BJJ Gi lying around a dirty floor.

Where can I find a really good wedding kimono as a full set?
I'm getting married in a year or so, and I've been looking all over for the perfect wedding kimono set... I haven't found it yet obviously, all I can find are the single pieces, but that will costs WAY too much. Can anyone help me?
Full wedding sets are very rare and probably aren't going to be a way to save any money. Yamatoku has some every so often, and Ichiroya had one or two sets at one point, but that's about it. I really think you're going to be better off putting your set together from individual pieces sold by the same seller (so you only have to pay shipping once).
