Single Father Is Also Eligible Of A Government Grant At Debt Relief

Stereotyping women as always in need of help must be annoying to men. Are you surprised? Let’s take at look at this seemingly confusing statement. Media show that men like women to be dependent on them, hence the damsel in distress scenario. So women always get help, even government grants aimed at debt relief.

In this today economic crunch, this is baloney. There are single fathers out there, believe me. One may have just lost his job and has a child to take care. Bills, mortgage payments are mounting and the refrigerator is empty.

The scenario is dramatic but could be true to many among thousands of single fathers out there. Government grants aimed at debt relief is mostly addressed to single mothers, as highlighted by the media. And this has led to a misconception that single fathers are okay, financially.

Gender is not an issue of availing government grants aimed at debt relief. Perhaps, the reason for this misconception is the nature of men not to show vulnerability when in crisis. So it appears like they don’t help from anybody. However, single father can avail such as government grants like, study grant, starting a business or expanding a business program.

Considering that the auto-manufacturing industry is the hardest hit in this economic spiral, male unemployment rate is high. This technical and labor oriented job is what men are accustomed; meaning getting a clerical job is a problem. They can check out non-profit organizations for free training he can avail. Sometimes, training programs for women are open to men; it’s just that nobody enrolls.

In addition, there are also individual governments grants aimed at debt relief, besides free training. Such as free counseling service for a mortgage related problems. Handled by the Department of Housing and Development Authority, offers counseling, evaluation and helps prepare strategic mortgage plans. Furthermore, help homeowner avail a modified mortgage scheme payable within reason.

With this said, to single fathers who happen to read this article, put your guard down. Call the nearest HAD office, before your debt problems will catch up on you. Such end of misery can be avoided.

Communists!!!?

If you were alive in the Soviet Union, you'd be dead by Sunday. Do you have any conception of how monstrous Communism is? Can you not see how eventually every communist state murdered thousands of innocent people:

China - women are sterilised by force if they have more than one child, internet and media is censored including personal blogs, there are mobile execution vans which covertly murder political prisoners

Khmer Rouge - 800,000 dead.

USSR - 20 million dead. 3 times the number of Hitler's regime.

Argue with the statistics. I dare you.

The bottom line is you think Communism is a wonderful system where everyone ones. Heres the truth.

You are forced to keep quiet, or you die.

Its fascism, just with more red.

Heres the question: how can you possibly think such a system is good unless you are mentally unstable or evil?

You are right, it's ridiculous to support any of those brutal regimes, but the problem is you have confused those regimes with communism...they weren't examples of communism, they were TOTALITARIANISM...there is crucial difference. TOTALITARIANISM is when the STATE has total control over all economic and political aspects of life. COMMUNISM Is an economic system where the WORKING CLASS have direct say and control over the economic affairs of the country. The Sina qua non of communism is Worker's control. If you don'thave that, you dont' have communism at all.

Look , the reason these countries called themselves "communist" is the same reason they also described themselves as "free" and "progress" and "people's democracies"...They were NONE of those either. But it just so happens that they EXPLOITED the moral appeal of communism, of the idea of popular control, in order to GAIN POWER and to then "beat the people with people's stick" to quote the famous philosopher Bakunin.

So to sully the word of communism and socialism by identifying it with these murderous totalitarian governments is to do injustice to the facts...

One final final comment though...the numbers on Khmer rouge atrocities and murders is interesting. According to the Yale Genocide Project, headed by Ben Kiernan, the number of killed is actually slightly over 1 million. But as Kiernan also points out, prior to the Khmer Rouge take over in 1975, the US bombed the country of Cambodia with more bombs than ALL THE BOMBS DROPPED DURING WORLD WAR II...with up to 500,000 killed....

And Kiernan points out that prior to the bombing, the Khmer Rouge were isolated, fanatical group w tih little support among the peasantry...but after the US bombing of the countryside, which was devasting, the peasantry became so polarized, angered , paranoid and devasted, that they began to gravitate toward this horribly mutated maoist movement known as the Khmer Rouge....

Every american should know the story...it tells what the US stands for in the world, and what the careless, destructive, criminal use of violence in the world can create... get started by seeing this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWOPcjVxYAE or google Ben KIernan of yale university, or even the Yale Genocide project
