What's the name of these old Chinese 'water flowers'?
Does anyone know the name of these 'flowers' and where you can get them? They came in a little paper packet with Chinese or Japanese writing like a seed packet, but the 'seeds' are sort of compressed paper or maybe balsa wood. You put them in a saucer of water and after a little while they open up into these very pretty and colorful vine like flowers

I ended up in similar 'magic flower / magic tree' manufacturers sites and while the concept is the same the 'magic seeds' I'm looking for are different. It's quite possible they're no longer being made which is a shame because they look really, really pretty!
