what do you clean a cast iron wood heating stove with?
my wood burning heater is looking rusty and gets my hands all black when I touch it. What can I clean it with that wont make it smoke or smell when it gets hot? I want it to be shiny and look good.
I let mine cool down and wash it with a solution of iron out. Rinse and wipe it with very little oil of any kind as long as it is not flamable.
