Apply this newly mixed essential oil thoroughly on hair and scalp for about 1 hour before rinsing it away.
Lastly, you can also try mixing ten drops of lavender oil, ten drops of olive oil and ten drops of tea tree oil. Mix these essential oils well and apply this mixture on hair and scalp for at least thirty minutes. This will cause the head lice on hair to turn white colour, thereby making it easier to spot them and pluck them off the hair.
Once you have successfully remove head lice with these remedies, use a tea-tree based shampoo regularly when you wash your hair. This will help to keep head lice away and kill any remaining lice or nits that had been left out.
