Knitting dog sweaters is simple if you have a good dog sweater knitting pattern. Although you can piece together a variety of free dog sweater knitting patterns, I find it's best to go with a trustworthy and reputable source of dog sweater patterns so you may be confident of what your sweater will finish up looking like in the end.
It isn't fun to spend all that time knitting dog clothes, only to find out that the design didn't turn out as expected and/or it does not look like it was supposed to based totally on the picture.
Finding a method to design a sweater that you love is fun - especially if you've got more than one dog to knit for.
Home-made outfits you knit yourself make great Christmas gifts for dog lovers. If you can give somebody's dog a present, they may appreciate even more it because they know that you care about their dog - someone that's amazingly critical and special to them.
Dog lovers with soft hearts really ingratiate themselves to dog owners, wherever they meet, it seems.
Some fun Christmas clothing designs for dogs include those with a star, a Christmas tree, or a little Holly pattern on them. Since dogs' backs are a pretty little canvas for displaying a dog sweater, it could be best to keep your dog sweater pattern small and easy-to-see.
The good thing about dog coats, jackets and sweaters is that they tend to be worn in the colder months of the year - right around christmas time in the northern hemisphere. Also, a lot of folk like to have their dogs dress up for xmas parties and that kind of thing. Having a dashing Christas sweater they can wear when company comes is overwhelming. Dogs always like a little extra attention and TLC - whether it's at a party or on a walk - a spiffy dog sweater, whether it's for xmas, or simply a warm winter sweater - will collect grins and spread a little extra holiday cheer to those who see you coming. Many dogs who spend the majority of their time inside don't develop thick winter coats and can get cold when they are going outside.
A warm wooly sweater can also provide your dogdefense against rain and wet splashing of snowy or wet sidewalks. Keeping your dog's coat dry and clean is just another added advantage of knitting your own dog clothes. Occasionally, the dog clothes youbuy do not fit right when you buy them off the shelf. So knit your own and perhaps you can spread a little extra vacation cheer when you're out on your next walk.

Building Your Homemade Windmill - Doing it Right, Doing it Easy and Doing it on the Cheap
It's all about going green and big companies are getting the message-profiting from the Earth's natural power. You can build a homemade windmill on the cheap and slash your power bills.
If you went out and bought certain commercial products to build your homemade windmill, you'd spend way more than you have to. Putting together a DIY windmill is the smart thing to do.
Quick green question for you. Did you know that even a few MPH of wind for your homemade windmill will generate power? That's right. Lots of folks think you need lots of wind for power. That's just not true. Even small amounts of wind flow can generate free wind power.
Here's what you need to be on the lookout for when building your own windmill.
The first item is simple. Make sure you have good DIY windmill plans. Don't try to build your own windmill without a good guide. It's a nightmare, trust me.
Second, whatever guide you follow should use readily available parts. Your guide should require inexpensive components. Really, there's no need to spend a life's savings.
Third, since building the right windmill depends on your location's wind flow, your guide should help you figure this out.
Today is a perfect day to start your do-it-yourself windmill project. It's amazing. By helping the Earth you can put cold cash in your pocket. Power is overpriced. I know someone who got a huge power bill (well over $500). That's just ridiculous. And there's no reason for it. Start using free wind right now.

Chemistry folks: Is 50% topical zinc oxide bad?
I ordered a pound of "cosmetic grade" zinc oxide and mixed 50% Zn0 and 50% moisturizer with an antioxidant, and I am using it as a homemade topical sunscreen. Will it cause free radicals? Is there an amino acid I need to add to balance it? (I have no clue what I'm doing.) Please help!
Zzinc oxide is the most well-known chemical sunblock (It is not a sunscreen.) Zinc oxide is a recognized mild antimicrobial, wound healing and sunscreen agent. It primarily absorbs UVA light rather than scattering or reflecting, non-irritating, non-comedogenic, and micronized by forming many small micro particles for cosmetic use.
"Sunscreens ingredients can be divided into compounds that physically block radiation or compounds that absorb radiation. The radiation blockers are very effective at reducing the exposure of the skin to both UVA and UVB radiation. Older formulations like zinc oxide are opaque and may be cosmetically unacceptable."
