Here are some more information for Flower Kimono:

While the traditional wedding guestbook serves an important function, more and more couples -- and wedding planners -- are steering away from the time-tested in favor of something more personal. That's especially true for brides and grooms having a relaxed second wedding, or those who simply enjoy a dynamic relationship and powerful personalities. Traditional guestbooks are great, but one-of-a-kind alternatives can be even better!
So, you're sold -- you've decided to put together a more totally-you memento of your guests than that little quilted journal and feather pen. And yet, it's a struggle to come up with the perfect idea. Never fear ... with a little brainstorming, you'll find yourself armed with several original choices.
While you ponder, ask yourself questions about what makes you stand out as a couple. What are your hobbies? Do you play any instruments? How do you like to spend your free time? What tantalizing spot did you pick for your honeymoon? Take mental note of your talents and passions ... or prized possessions. Answering basic questions like these should help you develop a fresh and personal spin on the traditional guestbook.
Here are a few quick ideas to help you get started:
o Blessed with musical talent? If you play the guitar, keep an eye out for miniature or older, not-necessarily-playable guitars at music shops, thrift stores, and so on. Buy some Sharpies and clear acrylic spray, so the surface can be signed and sealed for years to come. You can make similar modifications to instruments like banjos, mandolins, violins. Actually, with a little creativity you could probably convert almost any instrument!
o Crazy for sports? If so, consider signing memorabilia or sporting goods equipment related to your favorite sports or teams. Hockey players are sure to appreciate a signed hockey stick they can mount in a shadow box or simply hang from a wall. If you'd like to play this down a bit, just frame a picture of yourselves dressed in your favorite team's jerseys (or going to a sporting event) and leave plenty of ink-friendly matting around the frame.
o Love to travel? Look for artifacts or souvenirs that can be signed and framed or displayed after the ceremony. Fans of the Far East might enjoy a signed kimono. A safari jacket might be perfect for Africa aficionados. Most countries lend themselves to some type of apparel or indigenous piece of art that's simple to convert into a customized guestbook alternative.
o It's also worth mentioning that the number of couples going with a Signature Platter is on the rise. Why? Because not only is a signed platter a great way to remember your special day, it's one of the few "guestbooks" that can actually become part of your daily routine.
These are hardly your only possibilities for novel alternatives to the traditional guestbook. With a little creativity, brainstorming and research, you shouldn't have any trouble finding a "guestbook" that's as perfect for your wedding as you are for each other.

Using Asian Baby Themes To Style Your Little One
With the ever-changing world of baby fashion, there is something to satisfy just about any fashion need. From rock and roll onesies to high fashion sneakers, it's easy to keep your little one in the latest trends. One of the newest trends to take over the world of baby wear is Asian baby products. These Asian-themed items can be anything from clothing to décor and are among the most popular in the current baby industry.
With Asian inspired trends rising in popularity in many markets, such as furnishings and adult fashions, Asian baby fashions are even more popular. Obviously, a parent that likes these trends for themselves will be likely to purchase items like this for their baby as well. Nurseries with these themes are extremely popular as well because they evoke a sense of calm that's perfect for a nursery setting. As far as fashion goes, there are many options to keep your baby looking her best.
There are many Asian baby fashions that continue to grow in popularity. Kimono style rompers, onesies, and gowns are extremely popular. These styles offer not only style, but also practicality. Often, you can find these styles in the finest organic fibers and soothing colors. Parents love these kimono-styles because of the unique fashion sense. They make great gifts if you want to give a unique item any parent would love.
Asian baby fashions are also represented by various patterns and prints. The prints are generally floral inspired, usually representing something like cherry blossoms or other Asian-themed flower. Parents from all walks of life enjoy these styles because they are trendy and fun, while being quite unique and comfortable. Keeping your baby in the latest trends might be important, but it's more important to keep her comfortable. These styles certainly do all of that.

Please Help! Memoirs of a Geisha?
ok, i am looking for a kimono like in memoirs of a geisha..not a silk robe with flowers on it,or a 2 layer kimono, i want a 3 or 4 layer kimono like in the movie. If you could find a website or pic i would be much appreciated! thanks.
The kind of kimono maiko wear is called a hikizuri. Real maiko hikizuri are incredibly rare and expensive, but you can often find dance hikizuri or furisode that have been lengthened into hikizuri and those would probably suit your needs. If you don't mind second-hand kimono, look on places like Ichiroya, Yamatoku, Kimono Lily, and Ryu Japan, or search for hikizuri on eBay (use that exact word). If you prefer something brand-new, I believe Bokunan-do has some hikizuri with long sleeves, but those will be more expensive.
If you plan on actually wearing this for something, you're going to need a bunch of accessories too: one juban, at least four himo (ties), and obi (darari would be most authentic, but they're even more rare than maiko hikizuri, so go for a maru or fukuro obi instead), and obi age, and obi jime, an obi ita, an obi makura, a pair of tabi, and okobo or zori. You'll probably also want kanzashi for your hair.
If you want multiple layers, you're going to have to buy multiple kimono and wear them one on top of the other, or you're going to have to learn to fake it. These days, there are lots of tricks you can do to make it look like you're wearing thee or four layers while really only wearing one or two layers. For example, most women fake the look of multiple layers by adding one or more kasane eri to their kimono collar. It's just a strip of cloth pinned in place under the real collar, with just a tiny but of the edge showing, but it looks like an extra layer. Some wedding kimono have fake layers sewn into the sleeves and along the hem -- again, you're only wearing one layer, but it looks like two.
