Meditation is a wonderful way to quite the mind and reduce stress. This meditation can be as long or short as you need to fully recharge and release all of your tension and stress.
The Meditation:
Sit in a cool and quiet place and hold a piece of Aquamarine in your hands. Breathe quietly in and out several times and as you do so visualize the stone in your hands. Bring to mind the beautiful blue-green color and feel the smooth, coolness of the stone in your hands. Let your self relax into the color as if you were slowly slipping into a beautiful pool in a desert oasis.
Allow the cooling energy of the stone to wash over you. Let it move over you and through you cooling and refreshing each part of you that it touches.
See yourself floating in a pool of crystal Aquamarine water and as you relax deep into the water allow the currents to wash away any unnecessary energies you may be holding onto. With each lap of water against your skin feel your tension ease and your stresses dissolve away. Visualize the water diluting and transmuting these energies that you no longer need back to neutral source energy so that they can no longer affect you.
As you let go of the last of the stress in your body you now notice the warming sun shining above you. You feel the warm rays of sun filtering down to you with just the right amount of warmth to balance against the cool refreshing water. As you soak up the sun energy you feel recharged and balanced.
Continue to breathe in and out at a regular pace. With each breath you take bring in more of the warmth and energy of the sun and with each exhalation let go of any lingering tension, fears or stress.
You can hold this meditation as long as you would like. Try to hold it at least long enough to allow yourself to fully let go of any stress or tension and to fully recharge.
When you are ready to complete the meditation visualize yourself climbing out of the water onto a perfectly warmed and sunlit sandy beach surrounded by your favorite tropical or oasis setting. As you dry yourself off with a warm fluffy towel, remind yourself of how it felt to be relaxed and floating in those waters and ask that the memory remain a part of you, to come to you when you need relief from daily stress.
Be mindful of what you experience when you are doing this meditation. The combination of the Aquamarine stone and the water meditation is a great way to enhance your connection to self and along with the relaxation you might get some great inspirations from your Higher Self.
I always suggest a healthy snack and a big glass of water after any kind of energy work. A good combination of protein and whole grain carbohydrates or fresh fruit is usually my preference. This will help bring your mind back to the physical and solidify the grounding of extra energy.
