Rooibos Tea

The only place where this tea is grown is in the Cedarberg Mountains, north of Cape Town in South Africa. It was only towards the end of the 19th Century that the people living in the surrounding areas realised that the leaves of the bush made a fine tea when brewed hot.

How do you remove the scorch from a copper teapot?
We accidentally boiled the teapot dry, and it scorched it pretty well. Inside is sort of a silvery-black, outside is still mostly copper, with some scorching.
Make a thick paste of either white vinegar or lemon juice, and salt. Either the vinegar or lemon will do. Apply the paste to the outside and inside. Let it sit a few minutes, then rub the paste into the copper. This should take it off. I used to collect copper for my kitchen and it always worked for me.
