Here are some more information for Chinese Cloisonne Teapot:

Most people would have no idea off the top of their head what a Samovar was if you asked them. But if you were to show them one or a picture of one they would be able to make a good guess. It is a Russian teapot. The tea pot is used to brew the zavarka which is a strong concentrate of tea. The water for the tea is heated by a metal pipe that is fuel filled. The original tea brew which was a basic Russian honey and spice drink was heated by a devise that was similar to the Russian Samovar before it was created, called a Sbitennik. The word Samovar means "boil itself". It works like the modern tea infuser.
It is said that the first Samovar was made by a man named Fedor Lisitsyn of Tula, Russia. He was a gunsmith maker. Lisitsyn and his sons made Samovars during their free time at their gunsmith shop. The teapot became a hit and they put their town of Tula on the map because of their creation.
Samovars come in many different shapes and sizes just like the American teapots selection. They can be urn shaped, barrel, spherical and cylindrical. The traditional shape of a samovar is a large metal container that has a faucet near the bottom and a pipe running through the middle which is also metal. This pipe is filled with solid fuel which heats the water in the container and also the teapot that is put on top of it. The fuel was usually coal or pine cones. Today, you can get an electrical Samovar, which eliminates the need for having use fuel to make a wonderful tea. There is no metal tube running down the middle of the metal container. It is replaced by a spiral electrical immersion heater.
Samovars can be found in homes throughout Russia and other Eastern European nations, as well as in Central Asia, but they are becoming more popular in the States. Samovars not only make wonderful tea, but they also can be used for home décor that will usually strike up people's interest and cause wonderful conversations. They are very complimentary to all different kinds of tea sets. They come in varies sizes and accent colors and they are usually made of Stainless Steel which is the current craze of kitchen décor now. You do not need any special tea to put into a Samovar. There are a thousand choices of loose tea that you can mix and match with many other spices that you can add. Samovars are starting to become one of the most sought after teapots / tea kettles for kitchens these days. Because they usually can serve many people at one time, freshly brewed flavorful tea, women are looking for them for their afternoon get together, baby showers, bridal showers, book clubs and even in High Class Day Spas.
If you are looking for something different for a party or even for decorating your kitchen with that will serve a duel purpose, be sure to check out what Russian Samovars have to offer you. I am sure you will be surprised to find something different and unique to add to your kitchen that you never thought of before.
