Can anyone help me remember the name of a trail/lookout point in Point Reyes Nat'l Seashore?
Sorry for the lack of details but I don't remember much, other than that it was gorgeous.
There was a little parking lot with an information display, that you reached by taking a sharp turn from one of the main roads in the park. The path wasn't terribly long, probably 2-4 miles. At the lookout point there was a bench, and what I believe was Drake's Bay was to the left, and then the ocean out all around to the front. Straight down there was a rock in the water that had a tunnel carved through it, and there was a larger rock further out.
If memory serves me correctly, the point of the trail was to see elephant seals or something, but we went in late July when they were out of season.
Can anyone think of where I'm trying to remember? I'm looking for pictures of it.
