Shanghai Day Tour

On this tour, you will be picked up from your hotel and first taken to the Yu Yuan Garden. This lavish garden is located in the Old City first established in 1559 during the Ming Dynasty. Following lunch at a local restaurant, you will be taken for a drive down the French Concession where you will transfer to the Shanghai Arts and Crafts Museum. At the museum one can watch things such as kites, snuff bottles, and various pieces of art be made in the workshop and even purchase them. From there will be a visit to the Jade Buddha Temple. The Temple was founded in 1882 and houses priceless jade Buddha statues imported from Burma.
The last stop on this tour will be at Xin Tian Di. Xin Tian Di is the lively entertainment district full of restaurants, boutiques, shopping and bars. You can either stay here, or head back to your hotel with the group. Shanghai is very vibrant and beautiful. Much is to be said for booking a guided tour, for this way you can see the most important sights of the city and as is the case with this particular one, you see a lot for one price.
