Here are some more information for Bruce Lee Statue:

With a well established and reputed movie industry, Hong Kong has firmly planted itself as a force to be reckoned in the world of film. Gaining ground with the famous signature Kung Fu flicks, the industry has evolved in to something far bigger. To mark this impressive achievement and significant part of it's culture, a special avenue was created to pay homage. While being modeled after the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, it still manages to go beyond the original inspiration.
In the likeness of its Hollywood counterpart, the main draw visitors will find on the Hong Kong Avenue of Stars are the handprints of famous actors and actresses adorning the avenue in addition to name plaques. One of the more distinct attractions on the avenue is a 2 metre tall likeness of martial arts legend Bruce Lee. The statute was created in 2005 to mark what would have been the stars 65th birthday. Another impressive statue located here is a large version of the Hong Kong Film Awards statuette.
While many of the stars whose names appear on the avenue would only be recognizable to those intimately familiar with the industry, there are some that are instantly identifiable such as Jet Li and Sammo Hung. Admission to the Hong Kong Avenue of Stars is completely free and is open for visitation at any time of the day. However the entire area looks far more impressive when viewed in the evening or night where carefully placed lights illuminate the entire area.
When choosing a hotel in Hong Kong for your stay, Hotel Jen provides an accommodation option that will allow you to easily access this destination. Being a hotel near Victoria Harbour, guests are only a short distance away from Hong Kong Avenue of Stars.

What To Know About Cagefighters
Cagefighters have been in existence since the time of the ancient Greeks, when unarmed combat, called pankration, was first introduced into the Olympic Games in the year 648 B.C. Pankration was known as the most extreme combat sports, and statues to honor the top pankratiasts were erected in cities as late as the Early Middle Ages. This tradition of no holds barred events, while not always taking place in an actual cage, nevertheless paved the way for the methods and techniques employed by cage fighters. These no holds barred competitions took place in the late 1800s, in arenas and music hall challenge matches throughout the world, predominately in Europe.
The first recorded major encounter between a boxer and a wrestler in modern recording took place in 1887, between John L. Sullivan, the then heavy weight world boxing champion, and William Muldoon, a Greco-Roman wrestling champion. Since then, there have been other pre WWI mixed martial arts matches, but this sport did not really gain any widespread popularity until after World War I and the restructuring of professional wrestling to include to separate styles, shoot, which included actual competition, and show, which later evolved into the modern sports entertainment professional wrestling.
Cagefighters in the modern sense began with the vale tudo tournaments in Brazil, hosted by the Gracie family, as well as the mixed martial arts matches hosted in Japan in the 1970s by Antonio Inoki. The first mixed martial arts organization, Shooto, was formed in 1985. This concept of mixed martial arts was also popularized by Bruce Lee in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and Lee has come to be known as the father of mixed martial arts.
In 1993, after Royal Gracies victory in the first Ultimate fighting championship, cagefighters found a larger, more widespread platform for their sport, despite criticism from those who deemed it too violent and brutal. UFC bouts, as well as other MMA sanctioned cage fighting bouts, are held in an octagonal caged enclosure, or The Octagon, a structure with eight sided walls of metal chain link fence coated with black vinyl and heavy foam padding around the sides. Cagefighters are required to fight in approved shorts, and no shoes, shirts, gis, or any sort of foot coverings are allowed. Fighters must also use approved light gloves that reduce the risk of a broken hand while providing better grabbing and grappling ability.
While todays cagefighter may compete in a different environment than that of the early Grecian combat fighters, the skill set needed, the methods, and the techniques have remained relatively unchanged throughout the centuries of the sports evolution.

Calling all Bruce Lee Fans!?
I am not very knowledgeable on Bruce Lee at all, though I would like to be, and I would very much like to educate my child about him, as well.
All I know is he is Chinese, did kung fu, was a great legend, had a son who died in the making of the movie The Crow, and he is dead as well. I think thats about it.
Where should I start off?
Bruce Lee fans- any authentic web sites or movies that a Bruce Lee expert would be proud of? I watched one movie when I was 5 or 6, all I can remember of it is- at the end, the Statue of Liberty said, "Bruce" and winked at him. or something like that.
Anything else you might want to add that the average generic website might not add? Inquiring minds would love to know.
Thank you in advance.
Watch every movie, starting with Fists of Fury and ending with Game of Death, that Bruce was in. You'll get a good idea of the man and his politics. There were two movies that detailed the life of Bruce as well, one staring Bruce himself (as himself) and a lookalike named Brandon Lee (you can find more information at imdb.com about what movies they are specifically). Bruce also costarred in the TV series The Green Hornet, where he played the trusty sidekick Kato. Other than those, you can watch any number of documentaries about him from any number of trusted television programs.
It's time to burst the cloud's hype bubble
Agencies are rushing into an unfinished technology that lacks standards and governance and is not suited to all of its proposed uses, Reality Check columnist Michael Daconta says.
