How to fix/mend a bent brass instrument?
Yesterday I dropped my mellophone (brass instrument, similar to a trumpet) on the grass at school. I didn't drop it hard but now the bell of my mellophone is slightly and visibly bent. I've heard before to try using a stove but i'm not sure. Does anyone know how to mend it back! asap please 
A STOVE!! NO!! Try putting a rolling pin in a vice and then smoothing out the bell on it. Mostly we put some grease on the bent area to protect the finish and then rub it on a roller or a bell iron to get it back to shape. In most cases you will be better off to take your mello to a repair pro. Many of the worst repair jobs are fixing minor repairs that players have done : (
