I can clearly see the difference between Han Chinese and Vietnamese. In fact, I can clearly see the difference between a well-educated Asian and an uneducated countryside Asian.
Your so-called Malay Asians very rarely look anything close to Chinese or korean.
Every once in a while you might see a Thai person that looks a little similar with Chinese, but it is not often.
You have to remember the history of China, it was once a great Empire, and so was Mongolia, so there was some mixing of blood, although not as much as you would see in caucasian America today.
If you go to Eastern Russia, you can see some very Asian faces, just like Monguls, but these people are not Monguls, they are an ethnic monority of Russian people. This is due to the spread of the Mongul Empire in the early middle ages.
