Ever since I join a Martial art, my hand has gotten allot smaller. Why is that?
I am in Krav Maga. I do allot of punches and finger strikes. my hands like compact now, has this happened to you?
This is hard to answer without details.Such as is this decrease in size noticeable at all times or only when your hand is in certain positions or grips? (i.e. you only notice it when you're making a fist). Also is this only one hand or both?
A few possibilities:
-You've injured your hand (though normally there would be some type of swelling)
-through practice you have become better at making a tight fist
-through practice you've lost a little bit of weight or you've developed the intrinsic muscles in your hand and its gotten in better shape.
Besides those I can't say much else based on what you've provided. In the end, if your hand hurts or its become more difficult to use it in daily activities see a doctor
