Then there are the synthetic dyes to give their product eye appeal and useless and even harmful "fillers" that do no more than plump up the bar and make it look bigger.
When you break it down and realize what goes into the pretty packaging, it makes natural alternatives even more appealing.
Natural Handmade Soaps
Handmade, natural soap is made from plant oils and extract - ideally from plants that have been organically grown, or gathered from wild sources. Glycerin is taken from wholesome vegetable fats; this kind of soap is clear and has an amber color, and is an excellent moisturizer (unlike SLS, which creates an artificial lather and can actually cause your skin to dry out).
Vegetable oils are generally high in skin-healthy vitamin E and other anti-oxidants, just as nature made them. Scented soaps handmade from all-natural ingredients get their scent from floral sources and herbs that give off natural scents. In nature, these scents either attract beneficial insect pollinators or repel harmful ones - but they have absolutely no unhealthy effect on humans.
Yes, you do pay out a bit more for natural handmade soap - but all things considered, it is an excellent investment in your own health and well-being.

Glee Live in Concert tickets to see the stars sing show favorites like "Somebody to Love," "Don't Stop Believin'," "Sweet Caroline," "Jump" and "Don't Rain on My Parade" are sure to be major sellers!

For those who have yet to fall in love with Glee, the Fox show follows sanguine teacher Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) as he attempts to resurrect McKinley High School's Glee Club—and helps out a group of misfits while he's at it. The show's colorful cast of character includes Kurt (Chris Colfer), a soprano and fashionista; Mercedes (Amber Riley) a diva whose loud voice matches her personality; Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz), a punk rocker who uses her blue hair and dark clothing to mask her stutter and Artie (Kevin McHale), a geek who is masterful with a guitar.
Rachel Berry (Lea Michele), a confident singer who is hoping to rise to fame with the help of show choir and her MySpace page and Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith), the dreamy high school quarterback who copes with bigheaded teammate Puck (Mark Salling) and haughty girlfriend, head "Cheerios" cheerleader Quinn (Dianna Agron), are the two biggest talents in the batch of McKinley High School students.
As entertaining as the students at McKinley High are, the teachers are just as amusing! Will's only ally at the school is Emma Pillsbury (Jayma Mays), a germaphobe teacher, while he encounters resistance in his quest to save the Glee Club from obscurity from everyone else, including his wife, Terri Schuester (Jessalyn Gilsig), and McKinley's conniving cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester (played by the hilarious Jane Lynch). Glee took home the Golden Globe for Best Television Series –Musical or Comedy, the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series and most recently the Best Comedy Series honor at the GLAAD Awards.
Glee: The Music, Volume 3- Showstoppers, the next soundtrack for Glee, is expected to arrive the same day that the cast hits the road on tour, May 18. MTV News reports that the soundtrack will feature songs sung by guest stars from this season, such as Neil Patrick Harris, Olivia Newton-John, Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth. The deluxe edition of the soundtrack will feature Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" as performed by Menzel and Beck's "Loser." Other songs to be featured on Glee: The Music, Volume 3- Showstoppers include the All-American Rejects song "Gives You Hell," the 1980s classic track "Safety Dance" (originally recorded by Men Without Hats) and Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance."
